AyiConnect was born out of this frustration. We believe language and cultural background shouldn't be a barrier to quality care. That's why we offer a free basic service that connects families directly with caregivers who share your needs. First job is on us. Once you post a job, just wait for applicants to come in. No fee on any of these activities. 

As a small, resource-limited public benefit organization, we focus on driving social impact for diverse, underserved communities, especially those with an Asian background. Supported by our community, we prioritize doing good and serving both caregivers and families.

If you want to join our mission on this journey, consider these options: 1. using our one-time, low cost premium features to reach out to Helpers, 2. donate to our 501(c)(3) community & learning initiate, 3. engage with our concierge, part of the proceeds go towards AAPI contribution.

What type of care can I find from AyiConnect?

AyiConnect connects families with in-home child and senior caregivers who speak their preferred language including Asian speaking and Spanish speaking nannies and caregivers. Caregivers can provide a variety of services, including:
- Childcare: This includes basic care, such as feeding, bathing, and changing diapers, as well as more advanced care, such as educational activities and discipline.
- Senior care: This includes assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as companionship and emotional support.
- Postpartum care: This includes traditional Asian or Chinese postpartum confinement care (yuesao for yuezi), which is a period of rest and recuperation for new mothers.
- Domestic care: Cooking, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and running errands

How does AyiConnect work?

We are glad you're interested! AyiConnect is grateful for our user community and has evolved over time from lots of beta and user feedback.

We offer self service and concierge service. With self service, you can post a job, availability or ask any questions to receive support at AyiConnect. Families and Helpers can then find each other and connect directly. We always advise extensive screening before hiring.

Here are the general steps after you create an account in our app:
1. Create a job or availability post
2. Review their needs and reach out via comments or invite to chat privately
3. Once accepted, you can chat and call with each other
4. Leave reviews to share experience
5. Manage your hire through contract, retainers or payment
6. Ask to the community any questions you want to receive support on

We also offer concierge service for busy professionals. With concierge service, we will help you cut through the noise by doing the hard work and recommending a few pre-screened helpers that fit your schedule and requirements beyond our existing pool of talent. Is AyiConnect secured?

AyiConnect takes your security seriously. We understand how important it is to feel safe and protected when using our platform, which is why we have several security measures in place:

1. We protect your privacy: We never share your data with third parties without your consent. We only use your information to help you find care or jobs, and all communication within our platform is encrypted for added security.
2. We ensure real users: We use advanced algorithms and verification methods to identify and remove fake profiles. All AyiConnect users are real people who have been verified through our system.
3. We give you control: You can choose to further verify your identity through ID verification and background checks, giving you extra peace of mind.
4. We empower our community: We encourage users to report any suspicious activity, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for fake profiles or scams.

Don't worry if you can't respond instantly: We understand that life gets busy! Our app allows users to set up automatic responses if they're unavailable, so you never miss a message.

What is the average rate for AyiConnect Helpers?

The average rate for caregivers and nannies on AyiConnect varies depending on the caregiver's experience, location, and the type of care being provided. However, in general, you can expect to pay between $18 and $30 per hour for childcare, between $17 and $28 per hour for senior care, for postpartum care can be somewhere around $250 and 350 per day.

Can AyiConnect help me find a caregiver near me?

Yes, AyiConnect app allows you to search for caregivers by location. You can also filter your search by language, experience, and the type of care you need. You can download our app.
