We are a father and mother. Father is a technology worker who has a startup and mother is a law graduate who is studying for the bar exam through July. Both of us work from home. We’re a nice couple that likes things done safely and the right way. We’re open to feedback and input. At the moment it’s more important that we get someone who can take our feedback and follow directions as we tend to have strong opinions on how we want to care for and raise our baby. It’s important that we get someone detail oriented and cares for cleanliness. Our baby girl is 7 months old. Baby bathes, feeds and sleeps for the night between 5:30 and 7:00. Typically sleeps between 7pm and 7am. Ideally we can see our baby in the morning and in the evening and the nanny cares for her in the meantime. Grandparents take care of the baby 3 days a week so we are looking for coverage on the other 4 days. We need someone who can come in for 6 hours per day, 4 days a week during the daytime (we are thinking 10am - 4pm). Preferably Friday through Monday but we can adapt. First priority, we need the nanny or family assistant to take care of the baby. This includes: – Changing her diapers and clothing – Preparing food and feeding (both formula and pureed) – Entertaining / reading to / playing with her – Potty training (we’ve already started this) – Carrying the baby around – Taking her for walks outside – Putting the baby down for naps – [other tasks relevant to infant and toddler care as she gets older] Second priority, we would also like help with all of the tasks associated with caring for a baby that don’t involve the baby herself – Cleaning her bottles, toys and nipples (and keeping them organized) – Doing baby’s laundry – washing, folding and storing Third priority, someone who can help with other tasks that need to be done in the house (basically caring for the couple): – Doing our dishes and laundry, ordering our groceries – Helping us take out trash, clean the bathrooms etc. We have a 8-year old australian cattle dog as well. There are no care requirements on the dog, but the dog will be around in the house and likes humans so the nanny would have to be comfortable with that. The dog is very friendly and especially with humans.
