Auntie Wong has been looking after my baby for 26 days and we have been particularly impressed with her professional skills and her love and patience with our baby. Auntie is very good at developing a regular routine for newborns, insisting on formula feeds every three hours and implementing the "eat-play-sleep" cycle, which is particularly reassuring for parents. Auntie is patient and insists on not taking shortcuts, allowing her baby to fall asleep as naturally as possible and is willing to spend more time putting her baby to sleep to reduce her baby's dependence on the soother. Auntie is particularly experienced in dealing with flatulence, diarrhoea and jaundice. Auntie likes to interact with the baby and communicate in a way that my baby likes. She insists on practising head lifts and sleeping on her back every morning and evening, and naturally the baby smiles the most at Auntie.
Auntie is gentle and easy-going, and is good at listening to parents' views and learning from each other, discussing and then agreeing on actions. Auntie's cooking tastes light and less oily, and she pays attention to balanced nutrition, which is in line with our tastes. Auntie's noodle dishes, such as buns, dumplings and wontons, are still memorable to us.
Although we have only been together for 26 days, we are as close as friends and family, and my auntie has taken care of my baby as if it were her own. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has a friend with a baby or if we have a second child.
