From Maria D.： Kiara worked for me under Abyssinian Development Corp. at a program in MS 80 in the Bronx. Kiara's role was group leader/assistant. She was in charge of supervising the students in classroom, escort them to activities and assist them w academic work if necessary, she was a support for the classroom Activity leader or teacher. Kiara worked under my supervision for about 2 years, I was the Program Coordinator. Kiara's responsibilities included (as stated previously) supervising students, keep students on task, escort students to activities or main office, fill in for other staff when needed, receiving students and help with dismissal, contacting parents if necessary, help Activity leader or teacher with daily activities and report any issues with students to Coordinator. I would definitely recommend Kiara, she worked well with Middle School students and I'm certain she would do well with elementary school students as well!!
