Jenny was an angel sent from heaven for our family. She was with us for two months since the birth of my daughter. To say Jenny was a blessing is an understatement. We loved her so much that we extended her time with us after the first month (and luckily she had an opening).
Jenny went above and beyond to take care of everything mom-and-baby-related for us, e.g. cooking, tidying, all babycare (day and night), postpartum healing + lactation care, and more. Not only was her wide assortment of dishes delicious, she was always so accommodating with our family’s preferences, always taking note of what we liked/didn’t like and catering to those needs. My 3yo son was absolutely in love with Jenny, which helped quell a big part of my postpartum anxiety from this new life chapter with 2 kids. She was always so sweet, patient and loving towards him, and very attuned with how I was feeling to try to help mediate when needed (e.g. three-nager antics 😮💨).
In terms of my postpartum care, with her consistent help and coaching, I’ve been able to exclusively breastfeed this time around and am not sure I would have stuck with it without her guidance. She also prepared restorative foot baths and herbal tea rinses for hair washing, which helped with my fatigue and body aches. In regards to babycare, Jenny’s dedication to our daughter is unmatched. She treated her like her own; was always super warm and engaging with her, and made sure she was eating, sleeping, playing and developing well. Was always monitoring signs of diaper rash, heat rash, baby acne, etc (all common infant issues) and quick to tend to them.
Overall, we have nothing but incredible things to say about Jenny. She comes with years of experience, but at the same time maintains a humble disposition - she was always very gracious, open and understanding of our preferences and catered to our family thoughtfully and respectfully. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone searching for postpartum & childcare; we are forever grateful for her and SO so sad to be parting ways!
